I am a novice at this, but STILL trying to discern the difference between upward dog and king cobra? is it that dog has more engagement of feet?? i like your blog (good collection of inspiring photos)
While studying for my RYT 200, I found myself more and more confused by the ever-varying names of yoga poses. One studio calls a pose one thing, the next something different. It was the same situation online and my growing library of yoga books was no exception either.
During one of our teacher-training weekends, the idea donned on me - ONE source that covers ALL poses. Yes, there are a lot but each one has a plethora of names that only confuses the yogi that likes to bounce from style to style.
So, as I slowly add poses, I invite readers to comment and share their personal or practice's name/nickname for each. Hopefully this will become a great resource for all.
